The session will encourage participation and discussion from all of the state's audiologists. We will be listening, engaging, brainstorming, and in some cases, making decisions on directions for the future. Some of the topics we will address include but are not limited to:
- Background on the formation of the association
- Update on all activities undertaken so far
- Needs and wants of our members
- Areas of concern in the profession that need our focus
- Vision for the future of audiology in NC
- Mission statement for our association
- Discussion of committee formation
- Integrating volunteers
- Any brainstorming, questions, concerns.
We want to make sure that our new association serves all audiologists and advances the profession forward. Please share your experiences and perspectives with us. We hope to see you there, or "see" you on our web broadcast.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE REMOTELY
Note, you must have either a computer with speakers and a mic, or a smartphone or tablet with a speaker and a mic. Ex: iPhone, Android Tablet, iPad, Most Laptops.
Simply wait for a special link to be sent to you via email from NCAA. If you’ve gotten an email from us before, you are on the list. Simply click on the email, and you will be shuttled into the meeting through your internet browser. No need to download any special software beforehand. Just click “yes” to any prompts asking you to run the web app. Please make sure to keep your microphone muted until you are ready to speak!
IPHONE, ANDROID SMARTPHONE, IPAD AND OTHER TABLETS
Go to the App Store (Apple) or Play Store (Android). Download the app “Skype for Business”.
That’s it! You do NOT need to create an account or sign up for anything beforehand. Just wait for the special link to be sent to you by email. Click on the link and Skype will automatically open up and bring you into the meeting. Please make sure to keep your microphone muted until you are ready to speak!
You will be able to hear the meeting. When you are ready to speak, you can simply speak and your voice will be broadcast on the room speakers so that everyone present and on the webcast will hear you. You can also chat within the Skype app to write down a question as you think of it, or Tweet us a question with Twitter!
